About the Arts Centre
Gipton Community Arts Centre Ltd was launched
as a Company on 14th January 2004 and became a
registered charity on 19th November 2004.
Our aim is to obtain funding to support and develop
arts projects in Gipton.
The Directors of the company are elected annually
at the AGM and we encourage local groups and residents
to take part. Under the terms of our constitution
the Directors are appointed as follows:-
• Six are nominated by the Church of the
Epiphany, one of whom is the resident Anglican
minister.
• One is nominated by our ecumenical partners
ie Gipton Methodist and St Nicholas RC.
• One is nominated by Education and Training
partners working in the area ie local schools
etc
• One is elected by and from community focussed
centre users.
• One is elected by and from arts focussed
centre users.
• Two are elected by and from local residents.

vacant and we would welcome any expressions of

Our Company Secretary is Revd Kathryn Fitzsimons
Partnerships
We aim to develop partnerships with other arts
organisations. We are currently delighted to be
in partnership with Heads Together and have co-opted
Adrian Sinclair to our organisation.
